Li Yixing kills his wife to ‘eliminate the demon’

November 6, 2009

On December 16, 2006, at about four o’clock before dawn, members of the Zhou family were suddenly woken up by thrill cries of “help” at Room 2, Unit 1, Building 12, No. 57 Residential Area, Hanxing Road, Kaifeng City of Henan Province. Through the burglar-proof door, Mr. Zhou saw some one was madly striking another one lying on the ground of the dim corridor with something like a club. Mr. Zhou ringed the 110 Police Call immediately. After the investigation the police revealed: the victim was a female, already dead; her body lying across the door at Room 1, Unit 1 of the Building 12; beside the body were a kitchen knife and a steel tube of 64-cm-long; and behind the body, bloodstain stretched from the bedroom to corridor. Head of the deceased was fully covered by blood, with several knife injuries on it. The back and two legs of the deceased were full of blunt-force injuries.

According to police source, the victim named Guo Jiuju, female, 60 years old, was a retiree from Henan No.1 Textile Mill. The suspect named Li Yixing, male, Han nationality, 61 years old, also retired from Henan No. 1 Textile Mill, was the victim’s husband. Li began to practice Falun Gong in the early 1995, and soon was obsessed by it. In February 2001, Li Yixing was sentenced to two years “reeducate-through-labor” because he had gone to Beijing and stirred up troubles. After committed the killing, Li Yixing did not run away from the spot that day.

According to colleagues, Li Yixing was actually an open-minded man before practicing Falun Gong. He had many hobbies originally, such as singing Henan Opera, playing Chinese chess and practicing calligraphy – his calligraphy work was once awarded a prize and he was asked to teach children to write with a brush-pen at their Residential Area. After practicing Falun Gong, Li became a man of few words and lived in solitude. He seldom attended the opera fans’ parties or chess fans’ meetings which he used to be very fond of. And he had no contact or dealings with other people except his Gong mates. Li Daming was Li Yixing’s son. He said his father totally gave up hobbies after practicing Falun Gong; and reading Zhuan Falun became Li Yixing’s only hobby, and practicing Falun Gong was his sole exercise.

As to why Li Yixing killed his wife, let’s see what he has said in the interrogation record.

Policeman: Why did you kill your wife?

Li Yixing: I thought my wife had been attached by the demon, and she was going out to find some people and do me harm.

P: But how come you discovered that your wife was possessed by the demon?

Li: I have practiced Falun Gong for years, and I am attached by Sun Wukong the Great Monkey King, so I could see clearly that my wife was a demon.

Judging from Li’s confession, it was obvious that Li Yixing thought he had already cultivated into a very high level and was attached by the Great Monkey King. So he could find out which one was attached by “a demon.” Li firmly believed that his wife had become a demon that tried to kill him, so he killed his wife to avoid being killed. Actually, Li Hongzhi provided his followers with a lot of demon elimination descriptions in his book Zhuan Falun and other scriptures. Poisoned by Master’s theory, Li Yixing cruelly killed his wife.

Perhaps Guo Jiuju was still perplexed in the nether world by a riddle – why her husband laid murderous hands on her for such a ridiculous reason. And her husband, the killer, was punished by law: Li Yixing was condemned to death with a two-year reprieve by Kaifeng Intermediate People’s Court on the charge of premeditated murder.

Falun Gong founder not welcome this time: NSC

November 6, 2009

Taipei Times reported on October 13, 2009, Taiwan’s National Security Council (NSC) director said yesterday that now is not an appropriate time for Li Hongzhi, the founder of the Falun Gong movement which is banned in China, to visit Taiwan.

Director Tsai Teh-sheng cited national interest and security considerations as reasons why the government would not grant Li a visa if he were to apply for one.

Li’s visit will “damage the cross-Taiwan Strait ties,” Tsai said in a Legislative Yuan committee meeting, referring to Taiwan’s relations with China.

Court sends Falun Gong men back to China

November 6, 2009

Two Chinese nationals linking to Falun Gong will be sent back to China.

Both men, when applying for refugee status, had claimed they feared persecution if they returned to China because they were practitioners of Falun Gong.

The claims were refused by the minister.

Subsequent appeals to the Refugee Review Tribunal and Federal Magistrates Court were also rejected before the Federal Court ruled a person’s conduct in Australia must be disregarded for the purposes of granting refugee status.

However, the High Court on Wednesday upheld a subsequent appeal by Immigration Minister Chris Evans.

One of the men, referred to as SZJGV, arrived in Australia on January 25, 2006. The following week he applied for a protection visa, claiming to have been a practitioner of Falun Gong in China since 1997.

The tribunal backed the original decision by the minister to dismiss the claim.

It found that SZJGV’s interest in Falun Gong was a recent invention designed to assist him in his endeavour to remain in Australia by strengthening his claims.

The other case involved a man, referred to as SZJXO, who arrived in Australia on April 22, 2006, and who also claimed to have been practising Falun Gong since 1997.

He claimed he would be imprisoned if he returned to China because of his participation in Falun Gong activities, including protests in Australia against China’s treatment of Falun Gong practitioners.

But the tribunal considered that his claims lacked credit his evidence.

The tribunal was satisfied that SZJXO’s involvement in Falun Gong in Australia was aimed at strengthening his claim to be a refugee and disregarded his evidence.

A majority of the High Court on Wednesday determined the tribunal had not erred in either matter and ordered that the minister’s appeals be allowed.

In order to ‘remove the demon’, I almost killed my father with a screw driver

October 15, 2009

I’m Lu Jianquan, 39 years old and from Shizhong District, Leshan City, Sichuan Province. I used to be obsessed with Falun Gong and fooled by the heretical ideas fabricated by Li Hongzhi. Under the mental control of the cult and dreaming for going up to the heaven to achieve “consummation”, I took my own father as a “demon” and almost killed him… I’m serving my term at Wumaping Prison in Sichuan and remorse pricks me whenever I think about the past.

In early 1999, I was a businessman in Shenzhen and saw many people practice this thing called Falun Gong. I read some of their promotion materials and was curious about it at that time. Then I took part in a practice activity organized by Falun Gong practitioners in late April that year. In his Zhuan Falun, Li Hongzhi said that everyone practicing Falun Gong will finally achieve “consummation” and will “ascend in broad daylight” to “the Paradise of Ultimate Bliss”. He said: “In the Paradise of Ultimate Bliss, the trees are made of gold, and so are the ground, birds, flowers, and houses. Even the Buddha-body is golden and shiny … When you’ve succeeded in cultivation, you’ll get whatever you want and do whatever you want to do. In this world, you’ll get everything and that’s the rewards for your mighty virtues, all your sufferings, and your cultivation” (Zhuan Falun).

As for me who longing for making a fortune yet suffering losses again and again in doing business, these heretical ideas with deceptive “disguise” won me over and I started to practice Falun Gong with great resolution.

Although I was a devotional practitioner, yet Falun Gong did nothing to help with my business. On the contrary, I suffered more and more losses. In December 2001, being unable to carry on with the business, I returned to my hometown in Leshan. I was greatly depressed because of the failure and lost all confidence in life. All I wanted is to achieve “consummation” by practicing Falun Gong and to go to “the Paradise of Ultimate Bliss” described by the “Master”.

As for my practicing Falun Gong, my family had been against it from the very beginning. My father and sister talked to me a hundred times, trying to talk me out of it and into a new start by finding a job. In order to stop me, my father destroyed the books and audio tapes on Falun Gong several times. But what they have done didn’t pull me back; instead, I harbor a grudge against them.

I remembered that “Master” said in a scripture: “Those who destroy Dafa are the demons” (Explaining the Content of Falun Dafa). So I believed that the reason why I couldn’t achieve “consummation” was because of these “demons”. Furthermore, “Master” told us: “The wretched demons just deserve to be killed” (Explaining the Content of Falun Dafa), “if the evil has already reached the point where it is unsavable and unkeepable, then various measures at different levels can be used to stop it and eradicate it” (Beyond the Limits of Forbearance).

These heretical ideas removed my last hesitation on killing and in order to get rid of the “disturbances” imposed by my father, to realize rapid progress in practicing, I made a plan to eradicate the “demon” preventing me from achieving the “consummation”.

On February 1, 2002, I told my mother and sister: “I’ll kill father in five days and then set the house in fire and burn myself. Don’t you worry, people have souls after they die and what I destroy are merely bodies.” At hearing this, my family was afraid that I might really do something extreme so they rushed my father to take a hide at the house of one of our relatives. But in order to protect the family fame, they didn’t report it to the police and my mother and sister talked to me about it later. The forgiveness of the family didn’t wake me up; on the contrary, I thought the “demons” wanted to show the impression of weakness and this made me more resolute in killing them. So I pretended that I gave up the plan and easily won their trust.

On February 4, my family believed that it was safe and got my father back home. At about nine o’clock in the evening, they were watching TV and I believed this was the best time to do it. So I went to the bathroom, got a screw driver that I hid there in advance, attacked my father in his head, face, chest, back, and ribs. My father was totally unprepared and fell in blood in just a few minutes. I used such a force that I broke the screw driver and left 4mm-long tip inside the skull of my father. At the sight of my crazy violence, my mother rushed to hold me; but how could an aged woman stop a crazy young man? I got rid of her grip and jumped at my father once again. At the critical moment, my sister got a kitchen knife and waved it at me to stop me in time. I was then caught by the policemen and my father was rushed to hospital by my family. After a long-time rescue, my father was finally saved but the medical examiner concluded that he was critically injured.

On February 25, 2002, I was sentenced to 12-year imprisonment by Shizhong People’s Court for committing the crime of intentional homicide. At the prison, I received a letter from my mother, and it said: “You’ve got the demon inside you by practicing Falun Gong; so you’ll kill when the demon asks you to kill and jump off the building when the demon asks you to jump. Falun Gong is the root of all these.” Reading the letter and recalling my father falling in blood, I started to doubt about Falun Gong for the first time. I was so devoted in studying and protecting Fa, why would I get nothing except for bringing harms to my family and ending up at prison? Isn’t it true that “Master” has numerous “Law Bodies” and would watch over us anytime and anywhere? Why would I end up here in prison? For so many years, I hadn’t been a better person because of practicing Falun Gong, and then does so-called “Paradise of Ultimate Bliss” really exist?

I couldn’t answer these questions and felt so confused. In order to solve these problems, with the help of the guards and tutors, I read a lot of materials revealing the truth about Falun Gong. The more I read, the more I was afraid, for I finally got the real picture of what I had believed in for so long.

Now I feel so remorseful. At the same time, I’m also grateful, for my family hasn’t given me up because of my cruelty. They visited me several times at prison and still care a lot about me. The warm feeling of family is something that Falun Gong has never given to me. When I’m in my lows, the ones standing beside me supporting and protecting me are not the omnipresent “Law Bodies” of “Master” but my families. At sorting out all these, I decided to break away completely from Falun Gong. In March 2003, I wrote a 6-page letter to father telling him that I was terribly sorry and remorseful, that I had a clear understanding of the nature of Falun Gong as a cult. At receiving my letter, father and others came to visit me and I couldn’t help kneeling down in front of father apologizing for what I had done to him. Father forgave me and hoped that I would start all over again and be a better person.

I learn a lesson from the blood of my father and want to tell those who are in the same situation that I used to be: wake up, see clearly the real nature of Li Hongzhi and Falun Gong cult, don’t make the same mistake as I did, never do things that you’ll regret later after paying a price of blood, and never wait till it’s too late to say you’re sorry.

Inside story of Falun Gong

October 15, 2009

My name is Bai Ye, and I am 32 years old, graduated from the Changchun Traditional Chinese Medicine College. And I live in the Yuguang Residential Area, Chaoyang District of Changchun City. To be honest, I have undergone intense mental conflicts before I make up my mind to write this article and share my experience with friends today. But please do not take my words wrongly, my hesitation doest not mean that I have not seen through Falun Gong completely, it’s just that I really do not want to get involved in any affairs relating to the cult, not a tiny bit.

Yes, I am lucky comparing with those who lost their lives because of Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong.

Yet, I certainly have been out of luck: starting to practice Falun Gong at the age of 17, I have drifted aimlessly for 15 years! Just think about it, how could one afford to idle away such a long period and accomplish nothing?

In 1993, a “Qigong fanatic” swept across the nation. Various schools of Qigong sprang up like mushrooms after rain, good and bad jumbled together. Like most people, I started practicing Qigong on a moment’s enthusiasm without distinguishing the good from bad. However, most people practiced Qigong to keep fit, but I did it in pursuit of becoming a god or a Buddha, and the so-called “special competence” promised by many Qigong masters at that time. Unfortunately, what I followed was Falun Gong which turned out to be a cult! Maybe it was the starting of my tragedy. Totally muddleheaded, I thought there was no difference between Falun Gong and other Qigong schools at the beginning; Tempted by the so-called Consummation, I was still crazy about Falun Gong even after the “4.25 Incident” which shocked the world in 1999.

Sticking to the wrong course obstinately, my personal tragedy continued. By the time in 2001, I already became an important member of the cultic organization who could directly contact the Falun Gong Headquarters in North America, asking for orders. It was rare for some one to acquire such an elevated position within Falun Gong organization. Perhaps there were all together only 20 members like me in mainland China at that time. And gradually, I discovered many top secrets of Falun Gong and learned how the cultic system was operated, including where the money came from and how it was spent. What I had found out often astonished me, and I could not believe my own eyes in many cases. Yet they were all facts. On January 23, 2001, the “self-immolation incident” at Tiananmen Square happened. And for the first time in my life I began to question the nature of Falun Gong and whether its actions were legal or rational. But my suspicion was quickly dispelled by my greediness and the people around me –actually, I was deceiving people as well as myself. My ostrichism lasted until August 2004 when I was forced by the government to look squarely into Falun Gong’s crimes that no one could deny. In fact, any one under converting would easily change his stance so long as he can face up to phenomena and problems of the cult – and that was really crucial. The moment I began to look squarely at Falun Gong, my mind-set started to change – gradually, by thinking independently. Since I knew much more than ordinary practitioners about the cult, I did not need much preachment. Recalling the past, I compared Falun Gong with other cults in the world, and contrasted it with Surangama – the “demon-detector” of Buddhism. And gradually I came to realize that Falun Gong was a cult out and out. Yet I worked myself to the bone for it ever since I was 17! My youth and prospects were all destroyed by Falun Gong.

And now whenever others mention Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong before me, I would feel annoyed or even get furiously angry; whenever I think about Li Hongzhi and his Falun Dafa myself, I would feel sick and boil with rage. You know, I am really puzzled by Li Hongzhi’s behaviors: he has already collected enough money and moved his family to the USA in 1996, what did he come back for? He has swindled money out of followers, and then he comes to take their lives away by cheating! Vicious like a serpent, Li Hongzhi keeps on preaching the so-called Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance!

Here I would like to share part of my personal experience with our friends, to show what on earth Li Hongzhi’s “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance” means.

In 2001, the “self-immolation incident” took place at Tiananmen Square on the eve of Chinese Lunar New Year. At about 12:00 pm that night, I discussed the incident on the internet with a chieftain from the North America Falun Dafa Association who was responsible for contacting with Falun Gong organizations in mainland China. And we agreed that the incident was committed by Falun Gong followers. Later on, I met a fellow member of Falun Gong who used to be a teacher at the Xinjiang University. He was also a key member of Falun Gong in mainland China (Here I don’t want to mention his name; of course, if some one takes it seriously and asks for evidence, I can tell him the complete story in private). The teacher told me in person that, after the incident, he and several others were asked by the Minghui Net to go to Kaifeng and contact with local Falun Gong members, to see whether the seven people committed self-immolation were Falun Gong followers.

While in Beijing, I told the story to another teacher from the Jilin Construction and Engineering College. To my astonishment, this man and another practitioner from Changchun also received an order from the Minghui Net and they went to Kaifeng did the same thing, carrying a video camera with them. So the Minghui Net actually dispatched at least two independent contingents to investigate the incident, trying to obtain the first hand materials that would be of advantage to Falun Gong. During the investigation at Kaifeng, they were surprised to find that seven people committed self-immolation were all Falun Gong followers! Disappointed, they reported it to the Minghui Net and North America Falun Dafa Association. What shocked them most was that the Falun Gong organization solemnly claimed in a news briefing: “Participants of the self-immolation incident were absolutely not our Falun Dafa disciples.” So, while flaunting the banner of “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance,” Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong openly lied to the world shamelessly. As insiders, the investigators who had gone to Kaifeng at the demand of Falun Gong did not know what to do. Actually, no one dared to face up to it. They kept silent and refused to say anything about their story.

Another example was the case of “an unknown corpse being discarded at Tongzhou County of Beijing.” When the first time I watched the video program about the case, I told people resolutely that it was a fake. Later, I met a fellow practitioner and he admitted that he was a participant of that case. He even vividly described how he wrapped up the body with his bare hands! He also told me in details what happened that day: six participants, one vehicle, and the plot they hatched. Unfortunately, the six people involved were all well acquainted with me, among them, two were from Changchun.

In fact, if we think it over we could easily find out that in many places and on many occasions, Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong have already openly betrayed “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance” they boasted. But why didn’t we ponder deeply over it in the past? Perhaps we wouldn’t have made such a blunder if only we had thought it over.

Li Hongzhi’s another villa found in Beijing (Photos)

October 15, 2009

A row of villas stand inside No. 18 Yard, East Shuangqiao Rd., Chaoyang District of Beijing. These magnificent houses were built in 1995 and today they are still regarded by local residents as “luxurious mansions”. Among these houses, No. 1138 Villa (See Photo 01) stands head and shoulder above others: huge floor space, costly decoration, occupied by a single family, its present price exceeds RMB 5,000,000 and the name of its owner remains a secret for years.

But who on earth is the owner of this luxurious villa?

1

Written in black and white, the title deed declares that Lu Shuzhen, Li Hongzhi’s mother, is the owner of No. 1138 Villa

The House Property Contract reads clearly: On June 1997, a woman named Lu Shuzhen (See Photo 02) from No. 103 Jiefang Avenue, Changchun bought this mansion which covers an area of 220 square meters, plus a garden of 240 square meters (See Photo 03), with RMB 400,000 (See Photo 04). Taking into consideration of various handling charges, the total number was over RMB 400,000. And the money was paid off in one lump sum (See Photo 04).

But in fact, Li Hongzhi was the real buyer and mastermind of the deal

I interviewed veteran residents from the No.18 Yard on the matter, and they all told me that the No.1138 Villa belonged to Li Hongzhi. An old man mentioned that Lu Shuzhen once told neighbors: “I am an ordinary woman and can not afford such a big house. My son bought it in my name.”

Who on earth was Lu Shuzhen’s son then? Looking up the Household Register Records we learned that Lu Shuzhen’s son was Master Li Hongzhi: “Li Hongzhi, also named Li Lai, was born in Gongzhuling City on July 7, 1952; and he moved to Changchun City with his parents in November 1953. His father named Li Dan, married Lu Shuzhen in 1951. And Lu gave birth to Li Hongzhi in the summer of 1952.”

How did Li Hongzhi get so much money to buy the Villa?

Doubtlessly, any one could buy a villa so long as he has “enough money”. Some friends may ask a question: how much money did Li Hongzhi earn before June 29, 1997 or the day he bought the villa? So let’s look at the facts. In April 1982, Li Hongzhi left the army and began to work at Changchun Municipal Grain and Oil Supply Company; in November 1991, Li left the Company by way of suspending payment of salary but retaining office and became a professional Qigong master; and in May 1992, he began to spread Falun Gong. To make the whole thing come to light, here I would like to make a rough calculation of Li Hongzhi’s total income from 1982 to 1997, which is as follows.

A. Total income of Li Hongzhi and his mother before spreading Falun Gong

According to “Bulletin on Economic & Social Development Plan Implementation” issued by National Bureau of Statistics of the PRC, below are the annual average net incomes per capita from 1982 to 1991 respectively.

In 1982, the annual average net income per capita is RMB 270;

In 1983, the annual average net income per capita is RMB 309.8;

In 1984, the annual average net income per capita is RMB 355.3;

In 1985, the annual average net income per capita is RMB 397;

In 1986, the annual average income for living expenses per capita is RMB 828;

In 1987, the annual average income for living expenses per capita is RMB 916;

In 1988, the annual average income for living expenses per capita is RMB 1119;

In 1989, the annual average income for living expenses per capita is RMB 1260;

In 1990, the annual average income for living expenses per capita is RMB 1387;

In 1991, the annual average income for living expenses per capita is RMB 1570;

Using the above-mentioned survey as an example, a simple calculation finds that, as a clerk at Changchun Grain and Oil Supply Company’s security office, Li Hongzhi’s total income from 1982 to 1991 amounts approximately to RMB 8412.1 only. During that period, Lu Shuzhen serves as a clinic nurse at a small town and certainly does not make bundles. So the total income of Li Hongzhi and his mother from 1982 to 1991 would not possibly exceed RMB 20,000 even they save every coin earned and do not spend a penny on food or drinking.

B. How did Li Hongzhi get so much money to buy the Villa?

From analysis mentioned above, we can easily draw the conclusion that the total money Li Hongzhi earned before his “coming out” was absolutely not enough to buy a villa. And the answer to question of “where Li’s money coming from” lies in the fact that Li began to “spread” Falun Gong since 1992.

Falun Gong: reviews from a Chinese

September 23, 2009

Years ago I was walking down a street in Australia and encountered two apparently drunk fellows. As usual they talked to anyone on the street so they talked to me. After confirming that I’m a Chinese they asked about my opinion on the Falun Gong issue. I told them the religious claims of Falun Gong are quite stupid and right away they shook their heads and mocked, “You don’t know anything about human rights, do you?”

Seemingly they’d mistaken anti-Falun Gong with anti-religious freedom — criticising a religion is not equal to opposing religious freedom. And for your information, the founder of Falun Gong, who is still living on this very planet, has said in the Bible of Falun Gong that he is able to fly or turn invisible; he alone is the centre and source of this universe; all Falun Gong practitioners may literally fly outside the Galaxy in minutes; attending his class or even looking at his picture would cure any disease; the wheel of Falun Gong would physically protect the practitioners from all lethal falling objects; all other religions suck balls; all other qigong sects are evil and all other qigong masters are literally devils; following any other religion would be ‘life-threatening’; the universe is under his and only his control; he is more powerful than Buddha and Bodhisattva… etc. How believable, isn’t it? No wonder why there’re so many rational Westerners join this one true religion.

Philosophically speaking all of those claims can be true, but forgive me if I simply can’t support a religion that is probably insane.

Wu Jianmin: People regard the Falun Gong as a sort of cult

September 23, 2009

Talk about stimulus. In 1997, China had 1,200 miles of highway. Today, it has 37,000 miles.

That’s according to elder statesman Wu Jianmin. At 70, Wu is one of the most influential foreign-policy advisers in China, the country of more than 1.3 billion. He visited Portland this week to talk up U.S.-Chinese relations just as a trade dispute broke out over tires.

Wu interpreted for Chairman Mao Zedong and Premier Zhou Enlai. Wu’s wife, who like her husband served as an ambassador, worked for years as interpreter for Deng Xiaoping, the leader who transformed China’s economy into a dynamo.

“Ah, the stories he could tell, if he were willing,” Maria Wulff, World Affairs Council of Oregon president, said Tuesday of Wu while introducing him for a luncheon speech.

The former envoy to France and the United Nations shared insights earlier Tuesday during an interview with The Oregonian. Questions and answers have been edited for clarity and brevity.

Q: The Internet is censored, for example no references to the Falun Gong movement?

A: Some members of the outside world regard it as censorship. China is moving forward in that respect.

People regard the Falun Gong as a sort of cult. In your country you are so tolerant toward cults. This is not the case in France, where they passed a law against cults.

My story of taking Falun Gong materials ‘free of charge’

September 23, 2009

My name is Niu Siye. I am 35 years old, from Xiantao City of Hubei Province, and I am running a small restaurant at the Jiaotong Road of Xiantao City. I used to be a Qigong fan when I was studying at Xiantao Economic Management School in 1995. And I bought a lot of Qigong books because I was curious about all kinds of Qigong schools.

Since practicing Qigong was very popular at that time, some local people with shrewd business sense in Xiantao invited a lot of “Qigong masters” to come and hold training seminars at the city. Of course, Falun Gong couldn’t afford to neglect such a golden opportunity, its training seminars or “Fa Conferences” of different scales were frequently held in Xiantao. One day, I was told that an admission-free Fa Conference would be held at the Mianyang Theatre, so I went to the Theatre early in the morning, sitting at the first row.

The Fa Conference was organized by Liu Wenbin (Now already died of disease), head of the Falun Gong Xiantao Assistance Station at that time. Sitting at the first row, I was asked by Liu to take a lot of Falun Gong materials such as books, pamphlets and portraits of Li Hongzhi etc to the stage from behind. I thought all these materials would also be free of charge, so l took a copy of Zhuan Falun after the errant. Liu saw it by chance, and hurried to stop me. He told me: “Don’t take it now; we’ll give them to you after the lecture.”

The lecture lasted for about two hours, and I didn’t understand exactly what the master was talking about. At last, he concluded his speech by saying: “if you want to practice Falun Dafa well, you’d better take some materials back home, reading Master Li’s books and listening to his lecture tapes, and you can gradually comprehend the meanings of Dafa.” Pointing to materials piled on the stage, he continued: “Since these materials are limited in number, please line up for a copy if you want to study the Fa and we won’t charge you a penny for them; of course, if you do not want to have any regrets in your future cultivation, you can put in some money to the donation box beside me – it doesn’t matter how much money you donate, so long as you are sincere about the cultivation.”

Hardly had the master finished his speaking, a middle-aged woman climbed up the stage, put in RMB 500, and took a book away. It immediately caused a commotion among the audience. Encouraged by the woman, many people followed and gave generously of their money: some put in RMB 100 for a tape, some donated RMB 300 for a portrait of Li Hongzhi; and the most generous one seemed to have put in as much as RMB 2,000 for a book and a portrait.

I didn’t take a penny with me that day since I thought everything was really free of charge. I waited. The audience had left, and most of the materials were also “taken away”. Since I wanted to study Falun Gong, and I was really sincere about it then. So I waited for an opportunity to ask Mr. Liu a favor, and see if he could give me a grace period: I took a book that day, and “donated” the money the next. When the audience was all gone, I went to the backstage and looked for Mr. Liu.

Behind the stage, there was a dressing room whose door was locked. And though the window of the dressing room, I saw Mr. Liu and the master who taught us the Fa at stage were counting the money from the donation box. To my surprise, the woman who was the first to donate on the stage was helping with their counting. After the counting, Mr. Liu handed over RMB 500 to the woman, and then he said: “Here is RMB1,500, also donated by our insiders, I’ll give it back to them myself; so there was altogether RMB 42,500 left. Pay RMB 2,000 for renting the Theatre, and give RMB 500 to people who helped with our propaganda, the rest RMB 40,000 will be brought to Master Li Hongzhi by this master.” Upon receiving the thick stack of bank notes, the “master” re-counted.

I left the place with a flurry for fear that I might be spotted by them.

After the incident, I never mentioned a word about learning Falun Gong. In1999, the media began to expose Falun Gong’s money-raking tricks – a variety of them, so more and more people freed themselves from the frauds.

People also voluntarily burnt Falun Gong materials including its books, pamphlets etc. And the so-called Fa Conferences disappeared from the scene ever since.

Ten years has passed, and I still live by my small restaurant. Of course, I am not rolling in money, yet feeling well-fixed. The name of “Falun Gong” has gradually faded from my memory, but then it comes to me as a surprise: Early in the morning, some Falun Gong materials used to cost people hundreds have been placed on the doorstep of my small restaurant.

Then I found out that my neighbors and other shop owners also received these materials. My next door neighbor, a barber named Old Xiao, asked me what’s going on. I teased him: “Maybe they thought I didn’t have enough kindling to light my oven.” Old Xiao was puzzled: “Wow, so many exquisite discs, books and pamphlets, it must cost a leg and an arm to produce them. But who placed them here?” I told him: “if you’re afraid they’ll charge you for them someday, just give them to me as kindling.” Old Xiao quickly collected all the books and pamphlets from neighbors, gave them to me, and urged me to burn them at once. I was curious and asked him: “Why are you in such a hurry?” Old Xiao answered: “I feel disgust at the very sight of ‘Falun Gong’.”

Later I learned that Old Xiao’s wife had died of practicing Falun Gong (here I don’t want to mention her name). Actually, Old Xiao’s wife suffered from a liver disease at the beginning. Old Xiao was told that Falun Gong could cure illnesses without injection or medication. Eager to help his wife recover from illness, he “donated” several hundreds Yuan and got a copy of Zhuan Falun for his wife at a Fa conference. But soon his wife was utterly obsessed with Falun Gong. She refused to do any housework but fooled around with her Gong mates or practiced Falun Gong in her room all day long. As a result, her illness deteriorated instead of getting better. To make things worse, she totally rejected medical help, and finally died of cirrhotic ascites.

Trying to forget the tragedy, Old Xiao moved to Xiantao city from countryside, rented a house along the street and became a barber.

So, the deceiving book Zhuan Falun cost Old Xiao several hundreds Yuan; and practicing Falun Gong cost the life of his wife! Now so many Falun Gong materials are delivered to people free of charge, and who knows how much people have to pay for them in the future?

Mother becomes a stranger while master Li Hongzhi the dearest

September 15, 2009

Have you ever heard such a story that a man with a PhD didn’t care his parents for more than ten years? He neither made a single call nor wrote a single letter to his parents. Even when his mother underwent mammary cancer surgery and OHE, he didn’t make a call of comfort, let alone bear the medical treatment expenses for his parents.

This is the most scandalous behavior of PhD Zhu Xueye who managed to avoid helping his mother. However, PhD Zhu was not born different and impolite. He was ever a good son and a good brother. What on earth made a knowledgeable son and brother loss the virtues of man? All this is because of Falun Gong.

1997 saw that Falun Gong changed the human nature of Zhu Xueye

Mr. Zhu Xueye was born in 1965 in a village called Mabu, located in Hongbu Town, Gushi County, Henan Province. He was enrolled in Zhenzhou Engineering College (now the Engineering College of Zhenzhou University) in September, 1980 and majored in civil engineering. After graduation in 1984 he was retained in the college as a teacher. In 1986 he began on-the-job study to seek Master degree and was granted a Master degree in late 1989. He was promoted to associate professor.

In late 1997 Mr. Zhu Xueye went abroad to visit his wife who was in Canada, but he didn’t return to China after his visa had expired. Mr. Zhu studied Doctorial courses in Structure Engineering in Concordia University and was granted PhD and then continued to work in this university in a post-doctor program.

Mr. Zhu began to practice Falun Gong in 1997 when he was in Canada and then became obsessed with it. Before this Zhu was a very responsible man who had undertook almost all the expenses of schooling for his older sister when she was a student in Zhenzhou Engineering College and gave great help to his younger sister in her schooling. Mr. Zhu Xueye gave his house to his older sister when she became jobless and homeless after graduation, a great help indeed.

However, he changed a lot after he was fantastic about Falun Gong. In early 2000 Zhu Xueye returned home and stayed for a couple of days, and from then he never contacted his parents. Even in 2001 and 2003 when his mother was hospitalized to have surgery, he didn’t phone his mother to comfort her. His mother couldn’t help tearing whenever the son was mentioned.

Zhu’s father was a retired middle school teacher in a poor area and only had a small amount of pension each month. His mother was a farmer and suffered cancer and diabetics. His grandmother was over 90 years old and suffered senile dementia. The economic condition of this family was comparatively poor. But Zhu never gave a penny to his family after he went abroad. He even beggared 1,000 RMB from his parents when he returned home in 2000.

A merciless Doctor who avoids seeing his mother but is crazy about Falun Gong

In July 1999 China Government banned Falun Gong according to law. On December 18, 1999 Zhu Xueye returned to China in the name of visiting relatives, then he went to Beijing to “protect the Fa” and finally he was deported from China for violating Chinese laws.

It was on April 2, 2000 that the Zhu Xueye’s name for the first time appeared on Falun Gong website. The “Minhui.net” declared: On April 1, 2000, the Canada Falun Dafa Buddhist Society would hold a press conference in Parliament Hill to call for Canadian Government to support US government’s motion to accuse China for human rights violation in UN Human Rights Conference. Zhu Xueye delivered a speech in this press conference attacking China’s human right situation. After that, Zhu Xueye appeared frequently on Falun Gong media and became an activist in oversea Falun Gong organization.

On January 20, 2001, Montreal Falun Gong organization held “A Thanks-Giving Tea Party” where Zhu Xueye was present and made a speech as a Falun Gong follower.

In November 2003 Zhu Xueye was present as a witness in favor of the accuser who accused The Chinese Press Eastern Inc.

On December 29, 2003 Zhu Xueye and other Falun Gong members gathered before the China Embassy in Canada to support and encourage the crimes committed by Jilin Province Falun Gong members who dared to damage public communications facilities and insert programs in the CATV. Zhu Xueye said that inserting Falun Gong program was what the media should do to spread Falun Gong over the world.

In November 2004, the “Epoch Times” under Falun Gong published Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Zhu Xueye went here and there to actively take part in anti-China activities. On December 4, 2004, he spoke a lot of nonsense at the seminar on Nine Commentaries at Concordia University that “the communist is the most vicious and it intends to exercise common-wife system,” viciously attacking the Communist Party of China. He also spread the rumor that the Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident was fabricated by Chinese Police.

On January 8, 2005 he declared jointly with other “democratic movement” activists the so-called “Quitting the Communist Party Statement” to add fuel to fire for anti-China farces. In the signatures attached to the Statement Zhu Xueye ranked the 32nd.

On June 17, 2005, eight Falun Gong diehards including Li Xun and Zhu Xueye held a so-called press conference in the Parliament attacking China’s policy to ban cult Falun Gong and spreading anti-China words.

On September 8, 2005 when the China President Hu Jintao visited Canada, Zhu Xueye and other Falun Gong members besieged and chased the China delegation at Ottawa and disturbed this high-level visit.

From February 2006 Zhu Xueye turned out to be the leader in charge of Canada Montreal Falun Gong Organization.

He frequently organized meetings at Zhongshan Park in China Town of Montreal, to spread rumors like “Sujiatun Concentration Camp” and express support for “Quitting the CCP” farce. He said in his speeches to “refuse, discard and disintegrate the Chinese Communist Party”. He agitated hatred in the Chinese community and made frictions, saying that “the Communist China Embassy manipulates the Chinese community” and “prosecute the oversea Chinese.”

From March to June 2006, for several times Zhu Xueye organized Falun Gong members to protest at CRTC and ruthlessly set obstacles “for Great Wall platform to land in Canada”, smeared that the Great Wall Platform is “the propaganda tool of the Communist party of China.”

In September 2007 Zhu Xueye established the “Falun Gong Divine Land Marching Band” in Montreal and acted as its director. This Band has become the major force to spread cultic fallacy and stage anti-China parades.

From 2008 Zhu Xueye has began to take part in some activities organized by Falun Gong Headquarters and become a backbone member of this organization.

In October 2008 Falun Gong held “The Chinese International Figure Painting Competition” and Zhu Xueye changed his identity into a member of the organizing committee.

On November 28, 2008, as reported by NTD TV, Zhu Xueye was assigned to be the manager of the “TIANTIBOOKSINC” at Falun Gong Headquarters. This bookstore was established in November 2007 and is located in New Jersey, USA. It sells exclusively Li Hongzhi’s books and audio and video materials as well as Minghui series books to introduce and promote Falun Gong.

Since December last year, Falun Gong has held “the Chinese Spectacular” in the name of promoting Chinese traditional culture. Zhu Xueye appeared as a correspondent to the Epoch Times and wrote articles to lavish praises on this party.

Doctor Zhu’s avoiding his mother is the automatic consequence of his practicing Falun Gong

Doctor Zhu has practiced Falun Gong for over ten years since 1997. He deeply believed in Li Hongzhi’s teachings and operated a bookstore to sell Li’s books.

Li Hongzhi, the ringleader of Falun Gong, definitely asked his followers to abandon the affiliations and not to care the parents. If the disciples could not remove affiliations through cultivation, they would not be successful in becoming “Buddha, Dao or God”.

Li Hongzhi said: “the one who gives birth to your Primordial Spirit is your real mother.” (Zhuan Falun)

“Your real parents are in the place where the universe created you. That is where your parents are…” (Lecture in Sydney)

“They (human beings) live just for this sentimentality. Affection among family members, love between a man and a woman, love for parents,…If this sentimentality is not relinquished, you will be unable to practice cultivation.”(Zhuan Falun)

“When you show filial piety to your parents, that too is because of qing …as a cultivator, you have to get rid of this sentimentality gradually.”(The Law of Zhuan Falun Explained

“Those who are attached to affection for family will definitely be burned, entangled, and tormented by it.”(Cultivators’ Avoidances

“Cultivate away fame, material interest, and emotion, Reach Consummation, ascending the firmament.”(Reaching Consummation, Completing Gong

Doctor Zhu, who was obsessed with Falun Gong, followed the Master’s teachings and thought that the parents who gave birth to him was not his real parents and his real parents were in the heavens. Only when he has given up sentimentality can he “reach Consummation and ascend the firmament”.

It is known that Doctor Zhu’s mother suffers cancer and diabetics. When his mother underwent operations in 2001 and 2003, he neither made a comfort call nor sent money to his mother. The Net friends accused him of not fulfilling his duty to care for parents and playing an immoral game to avoid the mother.

Doctor Zhu’s attitude towards his sick mother can be explained by Falun Gong teachings.

Li Hongzhi thinks that the disease is not pathological changes; rather it results from the Karma or wrongdoings that one has done in his previous life. He opposes the patients to go to see a doctor.

Li Hongzhi said: “Karma resulting from past wrongdoing, one has illnesses or tribulations.” (Zhuan Falun)

“Why do people have health problems? The root cause of their problem and all their misfortune is karma.” (Zhuan Falun)

“Once ill, the person takes medicine or seeks various kinds of treatments, which in effect press the sickness back into the body again. This way, instead of paying for the sickness-karma from his wrongdoing in the previous life, he does some additional bad things in this life and hurts others; this brings about new sickness-karma and leads to different kinds of sicknesses.” (Essentials for Further Advancement)

“Surgery can only remove flesh in the superficial physical dimension, while the sickness-karma in another dimension has not been touched at all—it is simply beyond the reach of modern medical technology.” (Essentials for Further Advancement)

Doctor Zhu could draw a conclusion from Master Li’s points that his mother suffering cancer and diabetics was because she had done too many bad things in her previous life and it resulted from great Karma, her suffering was to eliminate the karma and it was no use going to hospital to have operations. Therefore he opposed his mother’s receiving medical help from the bottom of his heart.

There are many cases where Falun Gong believers ruined sentiments, became immoral and harmed their relatives, Doctor Zhu’s case is just one of them. We now know that Falun Gong leads its followers to suicides, killing and death because of medical neglects, but do you know how many mental problems and family break-ups happened before Falun Gong was banned by China Government?
