It is me who killed my husband

17 Apr

Han Xianzhi

My name is Han Xianzhi, and I am 75 years old, a villager from Xitian Village, Yuecun Town, Hualong District of Puyang City, Henan Province. And now I am living with my son and my daughter-in-law. In the spring of 1997, I was obsessed with Falun Gong and asked my husband Lu Shoucai to learn cultivation from me. When he fell ill, I prohibited him from seeing a doctor or taking medicine, causing his death at the age of just over 60.

In the summer of 1996, when we had just gathered in the wheat, my husband felt dizzy and complained of a headache, and later on was diagnosed as hypertension by the hospital after medical examination. However, the doctor said it not a serious case. And my husband’s blood pressure would be lowered so long as he took medicine on time each day. At that time, our son and daughter-in-law worked out of Henan, so my husband and I had to take care of our grandson at home. In 1997, our grandson passed an entrance examination for junior middle school, and was admitted to a boarding school in the city. So my husband and I suddenly became people who enjoyed abundant leisure.

One day I went to my grandson’s school bringing some clothes for him. When I passed through the Cultural Palace on my way back home, I saw two elderly teaching people Gong exercise. Some of them told me: what they were learning was called “Falun Gong,” a wonderful exercise which enabled people to keep fit while helping them to cure the disease if ill. More marvelously, if one kept practicing it for a long period of time, he could even cultivate into “a Buddha.” You know, I was rather old and had a lot of work to do in the field, then I often had a sore waist and an aching back those days. So my interest was immediately aroused by their words. I told myself, “Since I have nothing to do at present, why don’t have a try? Just regard it as a body exercise.” And I learned to practice Falun Gong from them and did cultivation together with other practitioners ever since.

Since then, I went to the city and participated their “collective practicing” on Sundays. At the same time, I got acquainted with many practitioners there. As I was unable to read or write, I had to ask them for help both in understanding Falun Gong’s “theory” and in following exercise postures. By and by, I was really fascinated by the “Heavenly World” they described: no pains or bothers, every one lived a carefree life and enjoyed themselves, and everything there was made of shining gold… I said to myself, “How wonderful if some day I could reach Consummation and ascend to the Heavenly World.”

Two months after I started practicing Falun Gong, I found with joy that all my old troubles had disappeared including the sore waist and aching back. And this made me even more confident that I could obtain Consummation through intensive cultivation. I said to my husband and son, “As you can see, my old discomforts have gone to Java, and I am hale and hearty. You know what? That’s because I have been practicing Falun Gong these days. Do not spend money seeing a doctor or taking medicine if you are ill. Just follow me and practice Falun Gong.”

Ever since my husband was hospitalized for hypertension, he had been always taking hypertension pills to control his blood pressure. As my cultivation had brought about desired effects, I began to peddle Li Hongzhi’s “Karma-removing theory” and asked my husband to stop taking medicine. “Now listen to me, you old chap,” I told my husband, “falling ill means you have accumulated too much Karma, and taking medicine would only press Karma back into your body — it can not pull off the roots of your disease. Yet practicing Falun Gong can remove the Karma and naturally it can cure your illness.” Since then I concentrated myself on cultivation, and placed all the hopes on Falun Gong. In the past, I used to fetch hot water and urge my husband to take medicine every day. But after practicing Falun Gong, I forced him to stop taking medicine, and urged him to follow my example. Giving in to my request and endless chattering, my husband ceased taking hypertension pills. In stead, he sat down and meditated beside me.

However, just a few days after my husband gave up medicine, he was suffering from a headache and dizziness again. Just returning home, my son secretly persuaded his father to take hypertension pills after finding out what’s what. But soon I discovered his “tricks”. I reprimanded my husband angrily, “Master Li has told us so many times! To do cultivation, you have to keep your whole mind on it. Never go to see a doctor or take medicine. Otherwise, it is impossible to obtain Consummation.” My son refuted, “Stop being a blunder, mother. If illness could be cured without doctor or medicine, then what people set up so many hospitals for? Li Hongzhi is talking nonsense.” Their rebellion made me furious. I flung the medicine bottle into the dustbin and shouted, “I warn you two! You may distrust Falun Gong, but don’t profane the name of Master Li. Otherwise, you’ll bring the punishment of heaven on you.” Then I added, “Why am I cultivating so hard? I do it to bless and protect all family members including you.”

Interrupted by my persistence, my husband took medicine a little now and a little then, so his illness worsened after practicing Falun Gong. He suffered from severe headache and dizziness, and often complained of suffocation in the chest as well as vomiting.

I would never forget the date all my life: October 25, 1998. And I remembered vividly that when my husband was working in the field he suddenly fainted. The doctor at our village told me that my husband might have a brain bleeding which needed immediate treatment by hospital. But I thought that’s Master Li removing Karma for him, and foolishly insisted that my husband should stay at home regardless of the doctor’s advice.

At my request, my husband was taken home from the field by neighbors on a stretcher. After a period of time, he finally regained consciousness. I encouraged him, “I’ve told you that practicing Falun Gong will cure your disease. Just take my words for it. You’ve passed the first test of Master Li, and you’ll reach Consummation soon. Now, let me send out Gong powers for you.” As my husband could not move, I recited Master’s scriptures beside him and, at the same time, sent out Gong powers on him. But before long, my husband went into a coma again. Realizing that the situation is really critical, the doctor in our village summoned my son home in a hurry, and together they took my husband to a hospital in the city.

But it was too late. There was nothing the hospital could do for my husband. The doctors said, “The patient suffered from an abrupt cerebral haemorrhage, and the case admits of no delay. But you failed to take the patient here in time, so there’s nothing we can do now.” The very night, my husband passed way.

Should Vancouver consult the Falun Gong cult on a bylaw

17 Apr

Canadians were rightly astonished and angry when it was revealed that City of Vancouver staff consulted with the Chinese regime before drawing up Vancouver’s controversial draft protest bylaw.

The input was sought on the new bylaw which would effectively prevent Falun Gong practitioners from erecting signs or a kiosk outside the Chinese consulate on Granville Street.

Clive Ansley, a lawyer representing Falun Gong, described the consulation with the Chinese as “disgraceful” and “indefensible.”

Councillor David Cadman questioned why we would talk to a government that imprisons artists and squashes liberties.

Falun Gong spokesperson Sue Zhang accused China of ‘genocide’ while expressing her outrage, alongside the B.C. Civil Liberties Union and others.

What was largely ignored was that the City of Vancouver also met with Falun Gong practitioners when the original draft was being drawn up.

But no one seems to mind that, because the Falun Gong has become a sacred cow in the minds of many in the mainstream media.

If anything, there would be a louder outcry against the cult group, should the mainstream media start looking at some of their teachings instead of parroting unsubstantiated reports that Falun Gong has millions of followers who are constantly being persecuted.

Here are some Falun Gong facts that get ignored;

Falun Dafa, which was founded in 1992, is an idiosyncratic blend of beliefs and practises as assembled by its founder Li Hongzhi. This includes Taoist and Buddhist references predicated upon a belief in extraterrestrials and practised through a set of prescribed exercises and meditation techniques.

While Li Hongzhi talks about “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,” neither he nor his followers actually demonstrate any tolerance concerning critical questions or inquiry. You question them, they call it persecution.

In Mr. Li’s world view, mixed-race people are part of a plot, contrived by the evil extraterrestrials. “By mixing the races of humans, the aliens make humans cast off gods,” he told a gathering in Switzerland in 1998.

“Mixed races” are supposedly excluded from the “truth” and “have lost their roots, as if nobody in the paradise will take care of them. They belong to nowhere, and no places would accept them . . . the higher levels do not recognize such a human race,” he preached.

According to Mr. Li, the offspring of mixed race unions are therefore “intellectually incomplete” or “with an incomplete body.” In such cases, only he, Master Li, can help and “take care of it” (i.e. resolve the “incomplete” state). However, that can be done only if “such a person wants to practice cultivation.”

Li Hongzhi also encourages hatred of homosexuals. “The disgusting homosexuality shows the dirty abnormal psychology of the gay who has lost his ability of reasoning at the present time,” Li Hongzhi wrote in Volume II of Zhuan Falun, or Turning the Law Wheel, which was translated into English in 1996.

In his talk in Switzerland, Li Hongzhi also stated that gay people would be “eliminated” by “the gods.” Asked in Frankfurt, Germany, in 1998 whether gays could practice Falun Gong, Mr. Li answered, “You can cultivate, but you must give up the bad conduct.”

And for good measure, Master Li preaches that Africa has a two billion-year- old nuclear reactor, that aliens who look human, but have “a nose made of bone,” invaded Earth to introduce modern technology and whose teachings are at ” a higher level than those of Buddha and Christ .”

He apparently also can fly and has the power to telekinetically implant the falun, or law wheel, into the abdomens of his followers, where it absorbs and releases power as it spins.

Now some of you may wonder why we are bringing this up. That’s because we have felt the brunt of the Falun Gong hypocrisy when it comes to freedom of expression, which apparently is central to the group’s cause.

In 2009, Frank Cui, the owner of the Burnaby-based Epoch Press, which is affiliated with the Falun Gong movement, and which used to print the Asian Pacific Post, held our publication hostage because they did not like what they read in that edition.

The non-controversial story was about an elaborate dance production showcasing Chinese culture. Cui and his cabal did not like the story’s “balanced” approach. They did not want readers to see the Chinese government’s views of the Falun Gong. They wanted to control the content and said they had a “legal right” to do it.

When Harbinder Singh Sewak, the publisher of the Asian Pacific Post, said no, Cui refused to release the paper from the print shop. He did so later, after being advised that you can’t do such things in Canada.

Cui in an e-mailed press statement said “Unfortunately, news reporters feel that they must ‘balance’ stories about Falun Gong or events they are involved in by adding the bad words or opinions from the CCP [Chinese Communist Party], but in my feeling, between victim and perpetrator there can never be any neutrality or balance.”

This matter of the Asian Pacific Post newspaper being held hostage will be heard by the Supreme Court of B.C. soon, where more intriguing details of how the Falun Gong cult operates, where they get their money from, and how they influence politicians etc., will take centre stage in a court room.

For now, it is suffice to say that consulting with the Chinese government is as outrageous as consulting with the Falun Gong cult, when it comes to Vancouver bylaws.

Hong Kong Epoch Times reporter Wu Zhimin falls ill

17 Apr

Wu Zhimin, female, born in 1969, is a reporter of Epoch Times in Hong Kong, as well as an instructor of Falun Gong in Yuen Long District. Believing deeply in the theory that Falun Gong members’ sick is to “remove karma”, shortly after the 2010 Spring Festival, Wu and her 12-year-old son (also Falun Gong practitioner) refused the medical treatment when getting a high fever of 40 degrees, then running to chronic bronchitis, which should be careful of the wind and cold for a long term. Fearing her neighbors would report to the police that she didn’t allow treating her son, Wu Zhimin required her son not to tell others.

Hong Kong Falun Gong member Huang Jieyi sick with cancer

17 Apr

Huang Jieyi, female, is one of the principals of New Tang Dynasty Television in Hong Kong. In early 2003, Huang found herself suffering from breast cancer, but she refused treatment because of obsession with Falun Gong, then the disease was delayed. On March 3, 2007, Huang Jieyi attended the Los Angeles Fa Conference in spite of her illness, hoping Master Li to save her life, but Li wasn’t present, which made Huang Jieyi very disappointed. After returning to Hong Kong, she had not yet gone to the hospital for treatment.

In January 2008, Huang Jieyi’s condition became worse, then her fellows wanted to “send forth righteous thoughts” to help her get over, but in vain.

Another self-immolation incident: How Liu Baode loses his fingers

17 Apr

Falun Gong addict Liu Baode’s crippled hands resulted from self-burning (Photo)

During a get-together with several friends from Panshi City, Jilin Province, I heard of a tragic story: a veteran Falun Gong practitioner named Liu Baode, spell-bound by the cult, ridiculously thought he had become “an immortal”, and one day he crawled into the kitchen range in hope of ascending to heavens, got burnt in the fire, and lost seven fingers, leaving regret for life. The story aroused our interest, and we decided to call on him.

According to Xie Yongkui, head of the village, Liu Baode was born on July 21, 1964, and was a villager of Shili Village, Hongqiling Town, Panshi City. He had a son and a daughter who were now studying respectively in universities of Changchun City and Baishan City. Liu, together with his wife, made a living as farmer who owed a few hectares of farmland. Xie grew up with Liu Baode in the same village since they were children.

Following Xie Yongkui, we got to Baode’s home, which was a thatch hut surrounded by cornfield, standing alone at the southern end of the village. Unless you were led by someone familiar, you could hardly find it. Unfortunately nobody was home and we waited there for more than half an hour before a passerby told us that Liu Baode and his wife had gone uphill to harvest corns and they might come back home very late. Then we went back and came back again in the afternoon, unluckily still finding nobody at home. The village head said in a zealous manner that he knew Baode well enough to tell us his stories. So I began to chat with him over the stories about Liu Baode.

Xie told me that although most villagers here were Korean minority nationality, Liu Baode was among the few Han villagers, he got along well with his neighbors. In April 1998, illness-stricken Liu Baode was enticed into practicing Falun Gong in the hope of restoring his physical fitness, and soon became obsessed with the cult. Liu Baode indulged himself in Falun Gong practice, totally neglecting farming and disregarding school performance of his son and daughter. Just three months later Liu Baode was spell-bound, going off into flights of fancy that he had become an immortal, and began to find a way to “ascend into heavens”.

While we were chatting, Liu Baode’s wife Liang Shufen came back. On hearing why we came here, Liang was just filled with anger and annoyance: had Liu not been addicted to Falun Gong, he wouldn’t have been crippled; had he not been addicted to Falun Gong, the family wouldn’t have been in such a misery. It was Li Hongzhi who nearly ruined the whole family. Liang also recalled her husband’s experience: he started the practice in April 1998, and became more and more obsessed with the cult till he got spell-bound and mentally derailed.

On the evening of July 9, when Liu Baode was making a fire for cooking, he suddenly gave way to foolish fancies that he had exercised good enough to be an immortal, and that he could ascend to heavens by burning himself. So Liu Baode quickly stuck his hands and head into the kitchen range while his wife wand children were not taking notice of him, trying to kill himself in the fire and “ascend to heavens”. Having heard a strange noise and smelt an offensive odor, the two kids and Liang found Baode crawling into the fire. They immediately dragged him out, quenched the fire, and cried out in tears for help. By the time they took him out, Liu was already disfigured beyond recognition. With the help of our neighbors, Liang sent him for therapy to Dermatological Department for the Burnt at the Jiangbei Chemical Hospital in Jilin City.

Though he was burned beyond recognition, Liu Baode rejected any treatment until the best chance went by. In spite of strong objection from family members and doctors, Liu went back home and continued exercising Falun Gong. As a result his burned fingers were further infected. Later on, family members took him respectively to the No.222 Military Hospital in Jilin City and Burnt Therapy Hospital in Huadian City, but Liu stubbornly refused cooperation with doctors. Finally his burned fingers deteriorated into osteomyelitis and had to be amputated with only two thumbs and one index finger being left. The man was deprived of his basic working capability ever since.

My second elder sister shouldn’t die so young

17 Apr

I am Gao Jinsheng, a farmer from East Jingling Village of Taizihe District, Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province. My second elder sister Gao Jinling, born in 1958 with a primary school education, lived in the same village with our family. Her husband (my brother-in-law) was a simple and honest man, working at a textile mill. Eight years ago, my sister passed away, leaving her husband and daughter unattended.

My sister Gao Jinling

In May 1997, some Falun Gong practitioners at our village went to my sister’s home and asked her to join them. My sister didn’t give much heed to what they said to her at first, thinking “I am a healthy person, why should I make Herculean efforts exercising?” So she refused. But those practitioners kept talking about “Ascension in Broad Daylight,” “Becoming a God or Buddha” and others to her, my sister finally rose to the bait and became a devout adherent of Falun Gong who would believe every thing Li Hongzhi promised. In order to cultivate a “standard” posture for meditation, she even put two large rocks on her legs – one on either leg, doing exercise. Like magnets attract iron, she was totally fascinated with Falun Gong doctrines, especially what the book Zhuan Falun promised – cultivating yourself in line with “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance” and becoming a “good person,” then you can get into higher levels and become a Buddha after “utterly cultivating away fame, material interest and emotion.” Further more, my sister positively believed that Master Li Hongzhi would bring her to the wonderful “Falun World” some day. So she tried hard and found every minute possible to learn the Fa or do cultivation, hoping the day would come soon when she could enjoy herself like free and unfettered immortals do.
After practicing Falun Gong, my sister stopped managing household affairs. Instead she spent every day doing cultivation: either going out a whole day to practice and learn from each other by exchanging views with her Gong mates or, staying at home to read Zhuan Falun and listen to Master Li Hongzhi’s tapes. My sister used to set heart on her daughter’s schooling who was studying at a junior middle school those days before being obsessed by the cult, and when my niece came home after school, my sister would offer to help the girl with her homework: accompanying her, supervising her, and urging her to study hard. But ever since my sister was fascinated with Falun Gong, she never gave much heed to her daughter, let alone supervising the girl’s schooling.
In fact, my sister not only disdained to take care of her husband and daughter, but also looked down upon the brotherly affections between us. Once my child had a fever and the doctor in the clinic said an injection was needed. But we had just spent our money buying fertilizer days ago, and there was only 100 RMB left. I hurried to my sister’s house and asked her to lend me 100 RMB. To my surprise, she turned a deaf ear to my request in such a situation! At last, it was my brother-in-law who came to our rescue and lent me 200 RMB. Noticing with pain that my sister just thought of her cultivation and showed icy indifference toward family members, my brother-in-law tried hard and urged her to give up practicing, but conversations between them often turned into quarrels.
In July 1997, the government officially banned Falun Gong according to law. And a lot of practitioners in our village quit it after they had seen through the true color of Li Hongzhi. But my sister, instead of waking up to danger at the last moment, sank deeper and deeper into the pitfall set by Li Hongzhi. Poisoned by Li’s fallacies such as “letting go of life and death,” “stepping forward to rectify the Fa,” “going out to protect the Fa” etc., my sister and another practitioner in out village secretly went out to put up Falun Gong leaflets and scribble slogans on walls beside the road. Sometimes they even traveled to other villages and places, scattering leaflets and planting anti-government banners. In the fellow villagers’ eyes, my sister must be spell-bounded at that period. She followed Li Hongzhi body and soul, thinking nothing but her cultivation, eager to achieve Consummation all the time. In a word, my sister had “turned into another person”.
In May 2001, our Villagers’ Committee invited some volunteers to help my sister. They talked to her with patience and care, trying to release her from the grip of cult. But my sister kept “studying the Fa and doing cultivation” secretly at home, refused to draw any lesson from what she had done. She thought she had successfully passed “the test of Master Li Hongzhi.” In August 2001, she secretly left home with the dream of achieving Consummation for two years without any message.
In August 2003, my sister appeared in a park of the city. She fainted on the spot while handing out leaflets to people in the park. Later she was taken to the Third People’s Hospital by an ambulance, and was diagnosed as terminal blood cancer. Kneeling down beside the sickbed, my niece asked her mother in tears to obey doctor’s order and cooperate with the hospital, but my sister turned a deaf ear to her. She neither took medicine nor had injection, protesting that Master Li was removing Karma for her, and that she was about to “reach Consummation and fly to Heaven,” and we were all demons that “interrupting” her Consummation. At last, my brother-in-law and I had to take her home.
Yet my sister kept sitting and meditating on bed without saying a word after returning. And her illness deteriorated quickly as the result. In December 2003, my sister died at the age of 45.

Falun Gong kills my cousin

10 Apr

On the second day of the first lunar month, 2010, I got a call from my cousin-in-law saying that my elder female cousin passed away suddenly in a waste brickkiln. When the grievous news came, tears trickled down my cheeks. My cousin is also my first teacher, it is under her careful cultivation that I can enter to a university, and don’t have to be a peasant any more. But the hateful Falun Gong killed my cousin and she passed away at the beginning of New Year.

My name is Wu Shicheng, 32 years old, a villager from Fengzhuang Village, Caohuanglin Town, Xi County, Henan Province. Now I work in an administrative unit of the county. My cousin Li Shumei was born in May 1962, junior college degree, and worked as a teacher in Caohuanglin Central Primary School of Xi County, which is also my alma mater. The cousin was my class teacher and taught Chinese when I was in Grade 3. I spent my memorable childhood from Grade 3 to Grade 5 with my cousin. I was naughty and playful as a child, so I got a poor academic performance, I even didn’t know all the Chinese Bopomofo alphabets when I was in Grade 3. My cousin helped me with my Bopomofo after school and gradually I could read new words in Bopomofo. She was strict in my study and corrected every composition for me. Under the meticulous care of my cousin, I made great progress, since then my grades were getting better and better and I was admitted to a university successfully. It is my cousin opened the door of knowledge for me and changed my life. I feel so grateful to my cousin.

Due to checking assignments in dark and humid office for a long time, my cousin suffered from rheumatism in the spring of 1996, which made her in great pain. And she didn’t got better after seeking medical help in all directions. Then a retired colleague came to my cousin’s house and said:”Rheumatism cannot be cured easily. The most effective method is to practice Falun Gong. Falun Gong can cure disease and improve health, once you practiced it, your family will also benefit from it. Now many people are practicing it.” Seeing that my cousin was a little skeptical of this, her colleague took my cousin to the open space at the south end of a street. There were a group of people doing all sorts of movements with the music on the ground. The assistant greeted my cousin and introduced to her all the benefits of Falun Gong practice. He said: “Falun Gong can cure disease, improve health and is an effective cure-all. Falun Gong advocates Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance, and teaches people to be good. It’s a progressive religion.” Other practitioners around also came and spoke glowingly of their own experiences. Under the conduct of the assistant and being confused by the fellow practitioners, my cousin bought a set of Zhuan Falun books, tapes as well as the portrait of Li Hongzhi without hesitation. The assistant seemed very generous at this moment; he said my cousin had high savvy and was a quick study, he would make a special offer, namely “buy one get one free.” My cousin was moved and after receiving the books with her trembling hands, she said she would mobilize the family and the relatives to practice Falun Gong when going back home.

There is a close relationship between rheumatism and climate. When it is hot and muggy, the symptoms of the disease are obvious, and when it’s fine and dry, the symptoms will lessen to some extent. As the weather got warmer, my cousin got relief from pain, which made her believe Falun Gong’s powerful effectiveness more. My cousin believed that it was good news brought by Falun Gong, so she became more obsessed with “practicing and learning Fa”, more respectful to Li Hongzhi. She practiced Falun Gong in face of Master’s portrait every morning and evening and prostrated herself in worship. In pursuit of the so-called “Consummation”, my cousin would go to the places where there were activities for promoting Fa collectively, no mater how far they were. She was in no mood for teaching and was indifferent to things at home. She had become quite a different person after practicing, which made all the people amazed. The school leaders talked to my cousin several times, hoping she could go back to normal life, but she was too stubborn to accept any advice. My cousin said it was the utmost respect to the Master and the greatest belief to Falun Gong if she stood firm and didn’t give up when affected by external interference. Since persuasion did not work, the school leaders had no alternative but to go through the formalities of early retirement for my cousin.

Falun Gong was banned by the state in 1999, which made my cousin cannot figure out. Regardless of the family’s persuasion, she went to Beijing many times for protecting Fa with her fellow practitioners led by the local assistant. In the meantime, my cousin-in-law, the son of cousin and I all persuaded my cousin to give up the practice, but she didn’t take advice and scolded us. She couldn’t forgive me especially. She said that she had helped me when I was young, but I didn’t take part in Falun Gong following her lead and even advised her not to practice Falun Gong. She complained that I disregarded her belief and was ungrateful to kindness.

Because of sitting cross-legged for a long time, being paranoid and living without routines, my cousin’s health condition got worse and worse. So we insisted to send her to hospital for physical examination. Besides the rheumatism, she also suffered from diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia and cerebral circulation insufficiency etc. Later, she had to take insulin every week due to the exacerbation of the diabetes. During every compulsory injection, she would resist fiercely and abuse us. She said she had the “Fashen Protection” of the Master and needed no medicines and injections, if she practiced more seriously, she would get better.

Spring Festival was around the corner but my cousin was missing on the 28th day of the last lunar month, 2009. My cousin-in-law and all the family went out to look for her, and visited all her fellow practitioners, but in vain. We were as restless as ants on a hot pan and didn’t know how to push through. On the second day of the first lunar month, 2010, a villager who knew my cousin went into a waste brickkiln for relieving himself. As soon as he went in, he let out a cry of scare and ran out. My cousin sat cross-legged and leaned against the wall, sleeping forever there. There was a note by her side, saying that “the family members always interfere with my practice, so I go to a place where they can’t find for ‘eliminating karma’. The ‘Consummation’ and ‘higher level’ I seek after will realize immediately. My Master, I live up to your teaching and I’m your most loyal believer.”

My cousin was buried two days later. Standing at the grave and looking at the familiar fields and villages, I thought about my childhood and shed tears of sorrow.
